SALEM - - On April 9, over 200 Mt. Abram High School students as well as a large portion of supporting staff took a day to celebrate what was called "Jeanne Tucker Day." Joanna Swihart, a junior at Carrabec High School in North Anson won a $500 scholarship from "The Kennebec Valley Chapter of Credit Unions Awards." Swihart wrote a 500-word essay on the tropic "What are the most challenging money management issues that students have to face after graduation?"
