Joanna Swihart, a junior at Carrabec High School in North Anson won a $500 scholarship from "The Kennebec Valley Chapter of Credit Unions Awards." Swihart wrote a 500-word essay on the tropic "What are the most challenging money management issues that students have to face after graduation?" This was the third year that Carrabec High School's Personal Finance class attended the Financial Fitness Fair at KVCC sponsored by Maine's Credit Unions.
