AUGUSTA — Albert N. Turner, 83 of Dead River, formally from Reading, Mass., passed away April 17, 2009, at the Togus VA Medical Center.

Al served his country for 20 years in the U.S. Navy in the submarine service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his many friends and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his sister, Ruth Watson of Tewksbury, Mass.; his brother, George L. Turner of Sanford; and many nieces and nephews.
