"Crazy For You" is the story of Bobby Child, a well-todo 1930s playboy, whose dream in life is to dance. And despite the serious efforts of his mother and soon-to-beex fiancée, he achieves his dream. The musical is a high energy comedy which includes mistaken identity, plot twists, fabulous dance numbers and classic Gershwin music.
The show includes very familiar tunes like: "Shall We Dance," "I've Got Rhythm," "Bidin' My Time," "Embraceable You," "Tonight's The Night" and many, many more. The book was written by Ken Ludwig, based partly on the Gershwin musical, "Girl Crazy" with music by George Gershwin and lyrics by Ira Gershwin.
This RFA Production will be held July 4 to 7, at 7 p.m. at Lakeside Theater. Tickets ($15) are available at the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce, 864-5364.
