Shuttle offered to Outdoor Adventure Camp

Kingfield Recreation Department

KINGFIELD — The Kingfield Recreation Department has again announced that it will be providing shuttle service from the Kingfield area to Carrabassett Valley's Outdoor Adventure Camp. The bus will start on the second week of camp beginning on July 13 and run for the duration of the camp.

"Carrabassett Valley and Sugarloaf are second to none in terms of providing recreational opportunities for children and adults alike," said Board Chairman David Hart. "We are pleased to again partner with camp organizers so that our children can benefit from all that the camp has to offer and make it as convenient as possible for parents to ensure that children have every chance to participate."

The shuttle service will leave the Kingfield Town Park at 8:35 a.m. and return at 3:50 p.m. to drop off day campers.

The cost for campers choosing to use this service is $6 for individuals or $10 per family. Transportation costs will be included in the weekly camp fees.

Outdoor Adventure Camp is based at the Carrabassett Town Park and will feature all of the exciting programs of years past including, but not limited to, overnight trips for older campers, field trips, hiking, biking, Red Cross certified swimming lessons, field games, team building and so much more.
