Award-winning 8th graders
 At the Strong Elementary School final assembly, McKayla Howard (left) received the John Knowlan award for the Most Improved 8th grade student. Annie Dexter (center) and Holland Corson each received the Roberta Richards award given each year to an 8th grade student for outstanding academic performance and citizenship. Each award is voted on by the school faculty in addition to all 8th grade students. Corson was also the recipient of the Maine Secretary of State Citizenship Award which was presented to her by Rep.
