EAST WILTON - - The East Wilton Union Church recently announced that it will be featuring the music of "New Beginnings" on Sunday, Aug. 16 at 6 p.m.

New Beginnings is a husband and wife duet from Winthrop that offers a blend of traditional, Southern and Bluegrass gospel music.

Artists Ron and Deb Hodge travel throughout Maine and New England working toward their goal of reaching the lost and ministering to their hurting and struggling brothers and sisters. "We count it a privilege to have the opportunity to share the good news of Jesus Christ and his saving grace" said Ron Hodge.

This concert is one in a series of "Concerts on the Lawn" at the East Wilton Church. You are invited to bring your lawn chair if you so choose. The concert will be held rain or shine.

All are welcome to come and enjoy a wonderful time of fellowship, praise and testimony. The concert is free, so bring a friend or two, and be prepared for an uplifting time of song and praise, said a spokesperson for the church.

The concerts are free, but there will be an opportunity for a free-will offering. East Wilton Union Church is located on Main Street, just off routes 2 and 4.
