Chodosh Memorial Tournament. Putts were drained, lobster rolls inhaled, and the sun even cast its rays for the entire afternoon.

Seventy-three golfers enjoyed a competitive 18-hole scramble and shared a delicious afternoon lunch, all for a great causeto celebrate the lifetime contributions of Dr. Chodosh, who passed away last September. The event also raised money for the Paul L. Chodosh M.D., Professorship at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary, where Dr. Chodosh trained, practiced and taught for well over 50 years.

The professorship supports the work of an outstanding clinical professor to advance cutting edge head and neck treatments to patients nationwide.

Many sponsors generously supported the tournament, including several local businesses: Burn Inc., Cerminara Landscaping, the Country Club Inn, Rangeley Lake Building Supply, the Gingerbread House, Jannace Enterprise Inc., Scotty's Lobster Pound, the Farmer's Daughter, Koob's Garage Inc., S-K Quality Fuels Inc., Morton & Furbish Agency, M&H Construction, Parkside & Main, and Sunrise View Farm.

Together with the golfers and the in-kind contributions of the course, sponsors generated a total of over $10,000 to the Professorship.

Mingo Springs plans to hold the tournament each year, and the course was very grateful for the enthusiastic support of the community.
