Local author to give reading

Local author Lew-Ellyn Hughes. FARMINGTON — Local author, Lew- Ellyn Hughes of Stratton, will be reading excerpts from her current book, "A View from the Corner," as well as selections from her new book coming out later this year Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Congregational Church, 227 Main Street.

"Come join us for an evening of insight and laughter as this award winning columnist shares her humorous interpretations of life," a spokesperson for the event said.
