RANGELEY — There will be a Blessing of the Animals for St. Francis of Assisi Day on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 4:30 p.m.

The service will take place on the lawn of the Church of the Good Shepherd (2614 Main Street), weather permitting; otherwise in the Undercroft. Leashes, cat carriers and fish bowls are requested. Light snacks for pets and owners will follow the service.
