PHILLIPS — The Sandy River and Rangeley Lakes Railroad Haunted Train returns Oct. 10 beginning at 6:45 p.m. New this year is a shuttle from Main Street to the train station and back; shuttle vehicles will be marked by a pirate flag.

While patrons wait for the train, they will be able to enjoy music and purchase refreshments at the Witches’ Brew Café. Another new feature this year will be Fortune Telling for a small fee.

The SR&RL will use more cars than in past years providing shorter wait times.

Adults cost $5 each and children $3.

More volunteers are always in demand, including high school students seeking to fulfill their Community Service.
