To the editor:

I recently heard through the grapevine that there have been some complaints about the Kingfield Transfer Station Manager. Apparently he is hard on people who do not recycle correctly.

I’ll be the first to admit that he has gotten after me a few times. Did I like it? Not really. Do I respect it? Definitely.

I think the transfer station is run very professionally and it is a smooth operation. The manager should be commended for his efforts.

For those with ill feelings, consider switching jobs for a week and swapping paychecks. I’ll bet those complaints go away quickly.
