EUSTIS — According to organizers, the 14th Annual Stratton PTC Haunted Hayride is all set to take place at the Cathedral Pines Campground on Saturday, Oct. 17 (the rain date is Oct. 24).

The evening begins with a Family Festival from 5 to 6 p.m., including face painting, games and prizes for everyone who comes dressed in costume. The Drop Dead CafĂ© will again brew up homemade soups, drinks and lots of “spooktacular” goodies starting at 5 p.m.

The Haunted Hayride takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. and admission is $4 per person. “There are many returning spooksters as well as new surprises, so a frightfully fun evening is assured for all who dare to attend!” a spokesperson for the event said.
