Fire Prevention Week
Stratton kindergarten boys (above, left to right) Noah French, Noah Koenig, Lance Dolan and Will DeFroscia pose in turnout gear as part of Fire Prevention Week. The students watched a video about an evacuation plan named E.D.I.T.H. (Exit Drill in the Home), visited the smokehouse that simulates smoke in a bedroom and practiced how to crawl to the door. They also practiced a simulated 911 call to report a fire. The Eustis Fire Dept. was represented by Jeff Stevens, Scott Spatcher, John Bonnell and Sprague Wise. (Contributed photo)
