FARMINGTON — The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive on Monday, Nov. 2, from 12 to 6 p.m., at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

For more information or to schedule an appointment to donate, call the American Red Cross at 1-800-GIVE LIFE (1-800-448-3543). Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. This blood drive is subject to change without notice, call to confirm site and hours.

If you are 17 years or older, weigh at least 110 pounds, have not donated blood within the past 56 days and are feeling well, you may be eligible to donate a precious lifesaving pint of blood. There is no upper age limit and most medications are now acceptable. to the party too. These glasses are cleaned and scanned by a machine that reads the prescriptions. They are then sorted and tagged and distributed to Doctors Without Borders and other health organizations to distribute world-wide.

The grand prize raffle will be awarded to the winner if they can be notified by phone at home shortly after the party. There will be treats for all.
