SKOWHEGAN — The American Red Cross is holding bloods drive on Wednesday, Nov. 18, from 1 to 6 p.m., at the Elks Lodge, 21 Silver Street, and also on Friday, Nov. 20, from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Skowhegan High School, 61 Academy Circle.

For more information or to schedule an appointment to donate, call the American Red Cross at 1-800-GIVE LIFE (1-800-448-3543). Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. This blood drive is subject to change without notice, call to confirm site and hours.

If you are 17 years or older, weigh at least 110 pounds, have not donated blood within the past 56 days and are feeling well, you may be eligible to donate a precious lifesaving pint of blood. There is no upper age limit and most medications are now acceptable.
