Newly minted Eagle Scout
2009-11-04
The newest Eagle Scout Hunter L. Corson from Troop 500 looks at the mentor pin during the candidate’s moment of his Eagle Court of Honor. The ceremony was held on Sunday, Oct. 11, and was attended by 75 friends and family members. During Corson’s moment, he thanked many people for supporting him through scouting including his Scout Master, Buster Nutting and Assistant Scout Master, Ken Flagg, who pinned Corson with his Eagle pin as Nutting presented him with his certificate. Corson pinned the mentor pin onto June Flagg who encouraged him throughout scouting. Corson’s Eagle project was a project to prevent further erosion from occurring around the outside basketball court at the Strong school. Corson is the son of Terry Corson and Felecia and Scott Pease and lives in Kingfield.
