To the editor:

Many, many thanks to all those involved with the Western Maine Youth Soccer Association for a wonderful season.

The organizers, board members, officers and volunteer coaches (including both area adults and students from Mt. Abram High School), did an amazing job this fall as they worked with 167 K-6th graders from the MSAD #58 school system. The commitment that they have made to promoting soccer and an active lifestyle in our community has benefited many families and has provided us with a unique opportunity to connect students from our area schools.

Kudos to them for their dedication to our students and to our community!
