Kingfield students Ron Lobdell (left) and Alisha Knowles (right) race each other to hook up a fire hose to a hydrant during Fire Prevention week. Local fire fighter Wayne Rundlett (center) makes sure the connection is tight before the water is turned on. Further down the line other teams were assembled to connect hoses and finally the nozzle. Once the water was turned on, the “nozzleman” had to knock over an orange cone with the blast of water. (Heidi Murphy photo)
