Blue High School in Farmington, Maine. The club expects to have over 2,500 items including downhill and cross-country skis and boots, snowboards, poles, helmets, clothing and other winter recreation items. In addition to used equipment there will be four ski shops with new equipment; Northern Lights, Ski Depot, Sport Haus and Carter’s Cross-Country.

The ski sale offers families the best opportunity to purchase affordable winter recreation equipment. There will be volunteers from the club to help parents properly fit equipment.

Used equipment can be dropped off for consignment at the high school on Friday, November 6 from 5 to 8 pm. The fees are $.50 per item put in the sale. If the item sells then the Farmington Ski Club retains 15 percent of the sale price. There will be volunteers to help tag and inventory the equipment dropped off.

Also, during the Ski Sale on Saturday, the club is offering a one day sale on club membership and season passes to Titcomb Mountain. Individuals can receive $10 off per person for alpine or combined season passes and $5 off per person for Nordic season passes.

According to organizers, Farmington Ski Club membership has a lot of great benefits including discounts for children programs at Titcomb Mountain, $10 anytime discount for full day tickets at Saddleback Mountain and one voucher for day tickets at either Sugarloaf or Sunday River for club members 18 years and younger.
