Ben Hitchcock (left to right), Henry Poulin and Craig Marshall, all of Carrabassett Valley and seniors Carrabassett Valley Academy played their last game of the soccer season together against Hebron Academy Oct. 28. They started playing soccer together in sixth grade in 2003 at Kingfield Elementary School under Coach Ron Canter. They continued through 8th grade when they played under Coach Mark Lopez. As freshmen, Hitchcock and Poulin went to Mt. Abram, while Marshall played at CVA. As sophomores they were reunited under Coach Noah Labow, and they have played for him since then. All three boys will graduate the spring. Poulin, who played goalie, is a snowboarder, Hitchcock, who played striker, is a freerider and Marshall, who played stopper, is an alpine racer. Hitchcock is the son of Joe and Gilly Hitchcock, Poulin the son of Denis and Mary Poulin and Marshall is the son of Jay and Nancy Marshall, all of Carrabassett Valley.
