FARMINGTON — On Dec. 4 and 5, western Maine comedy troupe, Teachers Lounge Mafia, invites audiences to Stale Milk & Sour Cookies II: Another Evening of Irreverent Holiday Comedy, at 7:30 p.m. in Lincoln Auditorium on the University of Farmington campus.

The performance features a collection of all-original sketch and improv comedy. All proceeds will go toward the Good Neighbor Tri-Town Fuel Assistance Program, aiding households in the Jay-Livermore-Livermore Falls area.

Stale Milk & Sour Cookies II takes a comic look at the annual struggles we face this time of year: Christmas card photos, irritating co-workers, obnoxious guests, and the lure of whoopie pie filling. Skits written by the troupe will be combined with classic improv games given a seasonal bent. The humor will be plentiful but audiences should be aware that it is not for all-ages. Audience discretion is advised.

Teachers Lounge Mafia consists of area comic actors, Emily Pottle, Alex Kreitzman, Jeff Bailey, Kyla Wheeler, Natalie Bean, Gavin Pickering and Dan Ryder. Taking inshpiration from the early years of Saturday Night Live, Upright Citizens Brigade, Kids in the Hall, The State, the writings of Franklin W. Dixon and R.L. Stine, as well as their own twisted comic stylings, the Teachers Lounge Mafia hope to bring something different to the foothills –-and still be allowed to live here.

Donations benefiting the Good Neighbor Tri-Town Fuel Assistance Program are highly encouraged.

Doors open at 7 p.m. For more information, contact Teachers Lounge Mafia at teachersloungemafiaimprov@ gmail.com or call 578-0357.
