2009-11-18
KINGFIELD — The town’s Christmas Tree Lighting celebration will be held Friday, Dec. 4, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Maple Street end of Centennial Bridge.
There will be a live Nativity, choir, hot cocoa, cider, cookies and a Santa’s Workshop where the kids can make something special to take home.
“This year we’re lighting the ‘Big Tree’ (by the post office)! Hope to see you there!” Ellie Meldrum, an event organizer, said.
Cookie donations are still being accepted; those who would like to help, should call Meldrum at 265-4039.
