DIXFIELD — The wedding of Nicole Reenà Irish and Dean Edward Knowles was held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 27 at the Dixfield Congregational Church. Reverend John Gensel officiated at the ceremony.

Nicole is the daughter of Andrew and Kathy Irish of Peru. Dean is the son of Calvin Knowles of Highland Plantation and Valarie Pinkham of North Anson.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white strapless satin A-line gown with a beaded bodice and a cathedral train. She carried a cascading arrangement made of white calla lilies and purple and white roses, while the bridesmaids carried white calla lily bouquets.

The matron of honor was friend, Darcy Gordon. Bridesmaids were Jenny Sayer, Natalie Patenaude, and Kari Grant, all friends. The two junior bridesmaids were sister of the groom, Connor Pinkham and friend, Elizabeth Adley.

The best man was friend, Patrick Foye. Groomsmen were Redmond Pinkham, brother of the groom, Jason Irish, brother of the bride, and Jeremy Manzer, friend. The two ushers were friends, David and Jonathan Adley.

The scripture was read by friend, Allie Luftig and “When you say nothing at all” was sung by the bride’s sister-in-law, Libby Irish.

The reception followed at Mountain View Campground, after which the couple honeymooned in Alaska.
