Do your Christmas shopping right in town and then join together for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the town’s center, with a live nativity scene on Camden National Bank’s lawn, and caroling followed by the tree lighting at the Post Office. A visit from Santa will top off the event at the Herbert , with cookies and beverages at the Mason’s Lodge, and a Santa’s Workshop at Longfellow’s.
Last week this group of Maple Street residents were out caroling while hanging Christmas trees along their street. This year, the trees are bigger and better then ever and sure to be an attraction in the community. These volunteers are in their second year of decorating Maple Street in time for the festivities on Friday night.
