SALEM — The MSAD #58 School Board recently released the agenda for its Thursday, Dec. 17 meeting at Mt. Abram High School.

Following the Call to Order, guests will be welcomed and the floor opened to public comment, after which any presentations will be heard.

The minutes of the nurses’ meeting will be reviewed, and the MSMA board contact people outlined.

The Superintendent’s Report will include the Dec. 1 enrollment, safety tips, Ski-Skate, a resignation, the model for school change, evaluation changes, a memorandum from the superintendent on school consolidation, and the AmeriCorps Grant.

Next the board will sign warrants as needed.

At this point the board will be asked to consider approval of the following action items: the minutes of the meeting of Nov. 19, 2009; the Policy BED Meeting Procedures/By Laws and any amendments; the Phillips Elementary School 8th grade class trip; the Strong Elementary School 8th grade class trip; the Kingfield Elementary School 8th grade class trip; and renaming a portion of the Rink Avery Field after a retired teacher.

Executive Session will be last and include the annual meeting with the Superintendent.
