Kids’ entertainment on tap at Sugarloaf

all ages during Sugarloaf’s annual Christmas Vacation Week celebration, now through Jan. 3, with Alex the Jester set to headline the week’s family entertainment.

The self proclaimed King of Jesters, Alex the Jester dazzles audiences with all of the color, flair and smart comedy of medieval court jester. Performing for audiences of all ages, shapes, and sizes, Alex the Jester packs many facets of audience appeal into one show: daring stunts, mind-bending sight gags, dazzling visual spectacle, musical capers and physical feats. The act features vibrant colors, audience interaction, and lavish costumes. Alex the Jester will perform for Sugarloaf’s annual Family New Year’s Eve party in the King Pine Room on Dec. 31. Admission is free.

Wednesday, Dec. 30

* Kids’ Tubing: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., The Birches

Thursday, Dec. 31

* Youth Hockey Hour, 5 to 6 p.m., Sugarloaf Outdoor Center

* Movie Night, 6 to 8 p.m., Base Lodge. Movie rated G or PG.
