Pile up
Heavy rain over the weekend caused spring-like conditions affecting the local rivers and streams in the area. The runoff resulted in higher water than usual this time of year and caused the ice on Carrabassett River near downtown Kingfield to jam. Mother Nature’s force shifted large fragments of ice blocks creating the disarray seen here. (David Hart photo)
