Seventh and eighth grade students from the Kingfield Elementary School organized their own festive fun last Tuesday, Dec. 15. A group of girls asked if they could sing Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer with independent band members Troy Palmatier (drums) and Jonny Hart (base guitar). Practicing a couple of times per week, the guys quickly learned the favorite Christmas song. On their last day of practice before the Christmas break, administrators allowed the curtain to be opened. The “quick-to-be-formed” choir and the band members flawlessly performed for the middle school students and some faculty members who were lucky enough to be there.
