CARRABASSETT VALLEY — The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive on Friday, Jan. 8, from 12 to 5 p.m., at the Sugarloaf Inn, 5092 Access Road. If you are 17 years or older, weigh at least 110 pounds, have not donated blood within the past 56 days and are feeling well, you may be eligible to donate a precious lifesaving pint of blood. There is no upper age limit and most medications are now acceptable.
