To the editor:

Maine is a great state notable for its diversity in demographics and geography. The next governor will be challenged to manage Maine’s great diversity in a way that preserves the social and natural fabric of the state while creating new opportunities for growth and development.

The state will be served best by a governor who views Maine’s economic development climate through the lens of a creative entrepreneur with experience implementing and managing new ventures. The next governor must work with Maine’s legislature to create and foster an inviting business environment that will open doors leading to the creation of jobs and capital.
