Officer Kelly Leet recently graduated from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy. She is an officer for the Carrabassett Valley Police Department. CARRABASSETT VALLEY — The Carrabassett Valley Police Department is pleased to announce the recent graduation of it newest police officer. Officer Kelly Leet graduated from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy’s 17th Basic Law Enforcement Training Program in December.

Officer Leet is a native of Wilmington, Mass. and graduated Suffolk University cum laude in 2005. After graduation Leet traveled to Eastern Europe where she taught English language for a year. She moved to the Carrabassett Valley area during the winter of 2006/2007.

She was hired as a full-time police officer for the town late in 2008. Officer Leet currently resides in Stratton Village.
