One more Diva rehearsal planned
Carolyn Smith, pictured with a “friend” at last year’s Diva concert, will continue in her role as Mistress of Ceremonies in the upcoming production of a mid-winter Diva Show titled “Diva Goes to the Prom.” There is one more audition scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 24 at 4 p.m. at the Club House in Rangeley. Those who would like to be a part of the show are asked show up prepared to share their talent. Organizers believe it promises to be another sell out. Leaning towards comedy in most of the theatrical productions that have defined Smith’s career, she will deliver the same style of hilarious comedy to this Diva Production that has kept her audiences returning time after time. Cast as the dowdy school librarian, she will transform into the Prom Queen bringing along with her a cast of characters including Patsy Cline, the Beatles and Dolly Parton (to name only a few).
