‘Plaza Suite’ at UMF’s Alumni Theatre

FARMINGTON — For a few hours, you can forget about the cold, dark days of winter by attending the Sandy River Players’ production of Plaza Suite, the classic comedy by Neil Simon. This week a talented cast from the campus and community brings the play to Farmington’s Alumni Theatre under the direction of Kyla Wheeler.

According to director Wheeler, each act tells a story of “fascinating personal relationships represented over different stages and walks of life.” What brings each act together is the setting, Suite 719 of New York’s Plaza Hotel. What happens inside Suite 719? You have to come see the production to find out!

The ensemble cast includes Debby Muise, Dan Ryder, Crystal Woerhle-Logan, Adam Randall, Justin O’Toole, Jeff Bailey, Britney Blais, Ariel Cohen, and Jared Boghosian.

Upcoming show dates are Jan. 21, 22 and 23. Tickets are 12 for adults, $10 for seniors and students and $8 for UMF students with an ID. There is a reduced ticket price night on Thursday, Jan 21 when tickets are $11/$9 for adults/seniors and students. To reserve tickets, call the Sandy River Players cell phone reservation line at 779-7084.
