To the editor:

I would like to thank all those involved in putting together Fish Tales and Cocktails on Jan. 16. What a night! We raised more money than ever, had more people than ever and just plain and simple had a great time!!

This event is to raise money for the program Casting For Recovery, www.castingforrecovery.org which is a retreat and fly fishing school for breast cancer survivors. This is a national program, but, each state needs to raise its own funds for the retreats and this event is one of the ways that money is raised.

So, thanks to all, those who donated, those who bid and those who helped out!
