Charity summit raises more than $161,000

To the editor:

The 10th anniversary of the Sugarloaf Charity Summit is behind us and every dollar raised will make a difference in Maine. The numbers are still being finalized, but we can all be proud of raising more than $161,000 this year and a 10 year total of over $1.1 million. This is proof of the extraordinary people in the Sugarloaf Community.
* Thanks to the fundraisers who reached out and asked
over 1000 people for their donations
* Thanks to the 70 volunteers
* Thanks to the 250 auction donors
* Thanks to our sponsors who gave so generously
* Thanks to the skiers that took part in the Warm Up
for the Challenge on Dec. 30
* Thanks to the skiers that entered the Challenge Race
or bought a raffle ticket
* Thanks to the folks that bid in the silent and live auctions!

* Thanks to the folks who attended the Charity Ball!
* Thanks to Steve & Stef Keenan, Steve Minich and
John Christie
* And a big THANKS to our host, Sugarloaf.

Together, with each of us participating, we can feel very proud of what we accomplished all while having a fabulous weekend at Sugarloaf!

A very special congratulations to Team Ten (Cheryl Levasseur & Kelly Lucas) for being the top fundraisers raising over $8,300.

On behalf of the Maine Cancer Foundation and the Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center, we thank you.
Sincerely,
Martha Bradley & Bruce Miles
