Dead River Area Historical calendars available STRATTON — The Dead River Area Historical Society’s pictorial 2010 calendars are now available. The cover features Stratton High School Class of 1960, 50 years ago with Shirley Bonnell, Iola Nile, Connie Knowles, Barry Fotter and Brenda Richards. Also on the cover are chaperon Dot Carville and the bus driver. Of particular interest may be the August picture which is the 5th and 6th grade class of Stratton School 1933-34 with Charles Collins, Carol Cox, Gladys Townsend, Iva Hanson, Mabel Bachelder, Carolyn Knapp, Helen Collins, Glennis Brimigion, Jean Proter, Maxine Jones, Deores Bourque, Myrtle Blanchard, Angie Seeley, Teacher Lucille Kelley, Fred Blackwell Wilfred Merrill, Leland DeRocher, Richard Dyer, Winfield Emery, Eddie Seeley and Ken Fotter. July’s photograph is of Game Warden Dwight Lander and Ray Willard owner of King and Bartlett Camps about 1952.
