ORRINGTON — Eric White scored a team-high 10 points leading the Rangeley boys basketball team (5- 11) to a 40-36 victory over host Calvary Christian (5- 11) last Saturday, Jan. 30 evening., Rangeley had a balanced scoring offense in this EWC match-up with Jordan Richard and Regan Sargent netting eight points a piece.

Colby Downes led the Christian Calvary team with 12 points.

Rangeley showed resiliency in Saturday’s victory as the Lakers bounced back from a (46-28) loss against first-place Richmond the night before at home. The win kept the Lakers 11th in the latest MPA Heal Standings keeping their outside chances alive to secure the eighth seed in the conference and a place in the Maine Class D Boys’ playoffs.
