Public meal planned
EAST WILTON — A public meal will be held Saturday, Feb. 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Harland Harnden Masonic Lodge Building at 70 Bryant Road.
The menu will include homemade chili and soups, with rolls, drinks and desserts. The cost will be $6 per person. All proceeds will benefit the Building Fund.
The Harnden Masonic Hall sits right next to the Whistle Stop Trail, so this would be a great destination for snowmobile riders to stop for a hot meal. (For all those setting their GPS units on their snowmobiles the coordinates are: N44 37.349 W070 10.446.)
The Harnden Masonic Building holds the Lodge but also has a large dining hall and kitchen. Dining hall rentals are also available for small parties, receptions and gatherings.
For more information contact, Robert Lawrence at 778- 2354. The event is sponsored by The Wilton Lodge No. 156, Maine Lodge No. 20, Jepthah Council No. 17, Franklin Chapter No. 34 and Pilgrim Commandery No. 19.
