RANGELEY — In small towns across America and perhaps everywhere, graduating seniors are planning for their senior prom. In Rangeley, so are the DIVAS.
The Diva Show is scheduled for Feb. 19, 20 and 21 at the Club House Restaurant in Rangeley. Showtime is 7:15 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and Sunday matinee at 2:15 p.m.
Conceived as “an evening of lighthearted entertainment with a cast of unpredictable characters,” the DIVA Show hopes to take you back to the Prom and connect you in song and dance to all of the drama, excitement and hilarity that makes the Prom and that “last dance” something to remember forever.
In its fourth season of production, this musical event will, according to organizers, “Wow” you with a compilation of local talent featuring 27 DIVAs performing a wide array of music, dance, and humor.
There will be a silent auction in addition to the show.
Tickets are on sale at the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce in Rangeley or by calling 864-5364. This event is a benefit for the Rangeley senior class of 2010.
