Maine premiere of snowboarder movie ‘ONEYEAR’
CARRABASSETT VALLEY — The Maine Premiere of the movie “ONEYEAR” featuring World Class Riders Kelly Clark, Andy Finch and Dave Downing, will be held Saturday, March 13 and start at 8 p.m., at the Sugarloaf Chapel. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. with free ice cream for all. The evening will conclude with door prizes.
Nations Foundation’s first major release, “ONEYEAR” offers what some are calling an accurate account of the exceptional lifestyles of many of the world’s best snowboarders. Traveling to five continents, one of the most talented snowboard lineups ever (Dave Downing, Andy Finch, Matt Hammer, Tommy Czeschin, Kelly Clark, Janna Meyen, JJ Johnson, Eric Willet and friends) encounter more than epic powder lines and huge jumps. Throughout this year-long adventure viewers find out what really matters and makes sense in the hearts of these pros —what drives them, what breaks them and where they find stability in a life of constant change and challenge. From Lake Tahoe to South Korea, Utah to Argentina, Mt. Baker to Switzerland, viewers will find out how much can really happen in ONEYEAR.
