The band’s music is a blend of blues, gospel, funk and R&B. The latest release by the subdudes, “Flower Petals,” their fourth studio effort since 2003, is a departure from previous albums. The songs, with an Old West flavor, are loosely tied together by a common theme, and are set at the turn of the century.

“The subdudes are a lot of fun to see perform live, and our venue is one of the best in Maine,” said Warren Cook, general manager and CEO of Saddleback. “There is room to dance and you can meet and greet the band after the show.”

Tickets are $28 and the show begins at 8 p.m. in the Base Lodge. Concert tickets are sold online at www.saddlebackmaine. com, at the Base Lodge or by calling 866- 918-2225.

Other upcoming Saddleback concerts in March are Pogey on March 20 and the Derailers on March 27.
