Reynolds joins Marshall Communications
      AUGUSTA — Nancy Marshall, principal of Nancy Marshall Communications announced recently that Eric Reynolds of Winslow has been hired as Internet project manager. Reynolds will be responsible for overseeing NMC’s Web site design, development and Internet marketing activities for all agency accounts.

Bredeaus celebrate 54th anniversary
      STRONG — On Saturday, Feb. 13, family and friends gathered at The White Elephant to celebrate Richard and Betty Bredeau’s 54 years of marriage. The couple also celebrated Richard’s 75th Birthday. Those attending found it a wonderful evening as 51 loved ones from Phillips to Bangor to Boston enjoyed an excellent meal and an evening of fellowship and fun.

Library announces temporary hours
      STRATTON — According to Wendy Boyle, Stratton Librarian, the Stratton Public Library will be operating under new reduced hours when she takes a leave of absence next month; this, however, is only temporary. Starting Feb. 16, the library will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. These hours will be in effect for about six weeks.

New landing zone for Kingfield
      KINGFIELD -– Local firefighters and emergency medical responders congregated at the Kingfield Fire Station last Sunday for a one-hour training session on helicopter flight evacuations.
