Kingfield Festival Days

KINGFIELD — The Kingfield Days Committee will be holding its annual auction to raise the funds needed to put on the three-day event that takes place the third weekend in July.

The auction will take place on March 13 at the Herbert Hotel in Kingfield. The silent auction will begin at 4 p.m. and bidding will close at 6. Viewing of the live auction items will also be ongoing through out this time. Starting at 6 p.m., the announcement of the winners of the silent auction will begin followed by the live auction. During this time there will be a cash bar available with beer and wine.

Some of the items that are up for auction include gift certificates from many area businesses, a cake from the Orange Cat Café, a wreath from Daisy-A-Day Flower Shop, three pounds of coffee from Carrabassett Coffee, a two-night stay at the Sugarloaf Hotel, a rafting trip from Northern outdoors, hiking boots from Labonville, a case of oil from Motor Supply, a stained glass piece from Pat Pray, a telescope from Sandy Moss, a Longaberger Basket from Betty Bredeau, and many more items.

There will be over 100 items up for sale between the live auction and the silent auction with something for everyone. Organizers urge the public to join them and support Kingfield Days.
