JAY — The Jay Democratic Committee welcomes the public to the 39th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Pancake Breakfast Saturday, March 13, from 8 to 11 a.m., in the Knights of Columbus Hall, 148 Main Street (Route 4).

According to organizers, this delicious tradition welcomes spring with rousing talks by Democratic gubernatorial and local candidates and visits by State legislators.

The breakfast features local foods and costs $5 per person, with proceeds going to the Jay, Wilton and Farmington Democratic committees. In addition to being a fundraiser, one of the most important and fun attributes of the breakfast is the opportunity to beat cabin fever and visit with people from all over the state and county, a spokesperson noted.
