SUPER SNOWBOARDERS Cooper Archard (left to right), Stockton Archard and Andrew Bouffard, three Saddleback snowboarders, just for the day joined a United States of America Snowboard Association race at Saddleback Sunday, Feb. 21, to compete in the slope-style event. Bouffard, known to all as Bouf, took first place, Stockton Archard took second and Cooper Archard took third. Overall Saddleback and Rangeley swept the field. “This was very, very exciting since they were competing against so many who compete so often. Bouf is one of my instructors and I am too proud. He is also Leon’s coach (Meister’s season long coach) and is a very knowledgeable and charismatic person. Bouf also won ‘hot trick’ of the day and won a case of hot sauce. On his first run Bouf landed a front side rodeo 720 and then a switch back-side rodeo 900,” according to Saddleback Ski School Director and Kingfield resident Mark Robie.
