Maine Handicapped Skiing plans social

Maine Handicapped Skiing is planning to host a Sugarloaf Social on Saturday, March 6 at the Sugarloaf Golf Course Clubhouse, not the Outdoor Center as previously publicized.

(Dan Cassidy file photo) The social begins at 5:30 p.m. with a culinary sampling, Merriam Vineyards wines, a basket raffle featuring numerous prizes from local vendors, night ice skating and additional festivities to be announced.

Proceeds of the event are to benefit the Maine Handicapped Skiing adaptive alpine program at Sugarloaf Mountain.

Tickets are $50 per person, and there are only 150 available. They may be purchased at Sugarloaf Guest Services.
