Easter musical drama offered


Sandi Rebert plays the part of Mary, mother of Christ, in an Easter musical drama titled, “Lift Him Up” which will be presented by the New Hope Baptist Church at 268 Perham Street in Farmington, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, April 3, 4 and 5 at 7 p.m. The music, written by Ron Hamilton will be sung by the 25-voice choir under the direction of Kirk Doyle. The narrators (Valarie Johnson, Isaac Wildrick and Brian Rebert) and Bible characters (Mary, mother of Christ —Sandi Rebert; Peter — John Trabuchhi, and Caiaphas –-Tom Charles) present the story of Christ’s triumphal entry, death, resurrection and ascension. Elaborate backdrops and costumes will round out this family event. Admission is free. For more information call 778-9696.
