NORTH ANSON — Friends and family members of Vici Anderson, a local woman who is battling cancer, are hosting a benefit supper on Saturday, April 10, at Carrabec High School, beginning at 4:30 p.m.

At 6:30, following the meal, local author and humorist Karen Bessey Pease will be performing.

“Please join in for an evening of food and fun, to support one of our own,” a spokesperson for the event said.
