FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Democratic Committee invites the public to a discussion of the Maine Democratic Party Platform draft. The meeting will take place on Sunday, April 11, at 4 p.m., in Room 123 of the University of Maine at Farmington Student Center, 111 South Street.

The committee will lead the discussion and listen to input from committee members and the public. Based on the views expressed, the committee will consider whether to propose amendments to be submitted for final vote at the Maine Democratic Party Convention, May 21 and 22, in Lewiston.

The platform states that it is “an expression of what Democrats in Maine support and a guideline for elected officials in their political work.”
